Package of 250 gr roasted and ground coffee provided by "A Brasileira", in Chiado, the most famous of all coffee houses in Lisbon. But in 1905, when it first opened, it was a simple retailer, selling "the genuine coffee from Minas Gerais in Brazil" in bulk, and offered a cup of the aromatic drink to all its customers. The coffee house was created in 1908, after a major refurbishment, and soon became a meeting point for journalists, writers and artists. Poet Fernando Pessoa, one of its most loyal and prominent customers, was immortalised with a bronze statue that still sits by an outdoor table.
