Caracteristics:
The story
behind the traditional clay jugs from Alentejo is a very old one. Very famous
in the XVIII century, they were exported to the Spanish royal court. They were essencial in households prior
to refrigeration, to keep the water deliciously fresh. This is the classical
shape, reproduced up to this day in the region of Monsaraz.
